Released 2005: Pain Of Conscience (P.O.C.) is the third album from a truly talented Hip Hop artist and producer. At twenty-one years of age, Tyroneus let’s his true underground Hip Hop heads know that he isn’t going anywhere and GameRunnaZ Records is here to stay.
What is most impressive about Pain Of Conscience? The fact that Tyroneus touches on many subjects that young adults deal with on a daily basis in urban culture. Songs like Fly Away and Thinking About U touch on the more difficult aspects of life, and the need to cope and deal with the stress of losing those you care for. While, songs like Gone Dem Thangs and Pop That give the club night crowds what they’re looking for.
However, what is most impressive about Pain Of Conscience is that the album represents the third album completed solely by Tyroneus with no gimmicks or strings attached. This album is real Hip Hop, and is not under the constraints of a major label in any form or fashion.
As a producer and CEO, Tyroneus introduces new skills and diversity from beginning to end.
But the bottom line is that the title of the album explains the sentiments of Tyroneus on this release in its best rights. The lyrics to which Tyroneus recites may just be the pains resulting from him having a conscience in our world. But, at the very same time, not doing enough to change it.
Needless to say, P.O.C. should be a well-favored album among a diverse group of listeners.
